Period Cabinet Project

We extend an open invitation for schools, universities, and organizations open to the public to apply for our Period Cabinet project for access to free period products.

At Chhaupadi, we are committed to addressing the critical need for accessible menstrual products for individuals in our community. Through our innovative Period Cabinet Project, we have established a network of strategically placed cabinets that hold free period essentials. These cabinets serve as vital resources, offering individuals in need the dignity and support they deserve during their menstrual cycles.

By breaking the barriers to access, we aim to eliminate period poverty and empower individuals to manage their menstrual health with confidence and dignity. Our Period Cabinet Project not only provides essential products but also fosters an environment of inclusivity, respect, and support for everyone in our community.

Join us in championing menstrual equity and ensuring that no one faces undue hardship because of a natural bodily process. Together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals who rely on the Period Cabinet Project for menstrual care.

If you would like to apply for the Period Cabinet program for access to free period products then please leave your information below and become a part of ending period poverty.

Program Details: Period Cabinet Project

Our Period Cabinet Project entails a collaborative effort between Chhaupadi and participating organizations to support access to free period products in diverse community settings.

How it Works:

1. Cabinet Provision: Our dedicated team will supply a cabinet to be placed at a location chosen by the participating organization. The cabinet will serve as a discreet and easily accessible resource for individuals in need. Note: If a cabinet is not feasible then we can provide a basket.

2. Free Product Restocking: We will provide the necessary free period products for restocking the cabinet over time, ensuring that it remains well-supplied to meet the needs of its users.

3. Restocking Responsibility: The participating organization takes on the crucial responsibility of restocking the cabinet when product levels are low, thus maintaining its availability for continued use.

Together, we can make a meaningful impact in promoting menstrual equity and supporting individuals in our community who rely on these essential resources."
